Playing Sardar- Flavor of the season

Thanks to the tremendous success of Singh Is King every actor in Bollywood today wants to play the Sardar. Playing Sardar seems to be the flavor of the season and joining the bandwagon is Ranbir Kapoor.

The young actor now plays the protagonist in the Shamit Amin directed (Chak De India) and Jaideep Sahani written, Rocket Singh-Salesman of The Year.

The film is a comic caper and it is slated to release later this year. The initial talk on the film is favorable and going by Jaideep’s ability to create strong storylines with excellent screenplays the film may just be a much needed fun block-buster.
