London, October 27 (ANI): Media mogul Simon Cowell recently admonished X-Factor judges Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole for paying more attention to their looks than work, sources say.

Cowell’s frustration had built after his act Danyl Johnson was placed at the bottom two.

He has now ordered the two beauties to be ready 30 minutes early before the show begins in order to brief him.

“Simon could not believe his act Danyl – or Miss Frank for that matter  – were in the sing-off and he was in a foul mood all evening,” the Mirror quoted a source as saying.

The insider added: “After the show he let rip at Cheryl and Dannii. They are always immaculately turned out and spend ages choosing their clothes and accessories, having their hair and make-up done and perfecting their look. But in no uncertain terms Simon told them it’s a talent show, not a fashion show.

“He told the girls he wants them to spend less time in front of the mirror and in their dressing rooms and more time concentrating on their acts, song choices and criticisms.

“He thinks Cheryl and Dannii need to be more real. He thinks they’re too afraid to offend.

“He doesn’t want them to say just what they think the public wants to hear. He wants them to think about what they’re saying. He’s worried about the show becoming boring.

“It’s too anodyne. He wants more constructive criticism rather than platitudes. Simon was angry because he could not get his head around the fact Danyl, who he saw as a potential winner, was in the bottom two and the twins  made it through on the public vote.

“He was on the war path and unfortunately, the girls were his target.”

London, Oct 27 (ANI): Cheryl Cole spent a cool 700 pounds to buy Christian Louboutins for her fellow X Factor judge Dannii Minogue on her 38th birthday.

Cole act also put aside gossip that the two celebs aren’t aren”t pals, reports the Sun.

And Dannii was so thrilled to receive the present that she posted a snap of the stilettos on Twitter, saying: “Birthday present from Mrs Cole – LOVELY J”Adore!!!!”

Dannii and Cheryl both have denied reports they don”t get on, although Dannii has said they never chat about personal things.
