After many actors of her ilk courted the small screen, it’s the turn of the dimpled beauty Preity Zinta to start her small screen affair. Reports are that the actress is all set to host a sport based show for a leading TV network. Though the details are not available, it’s learnt that Preity is seriously thinking about this deal and is about to sign on the dotted line.

The show will be produced by Siddharth Basu’s Synergy Adlabs and will mark Preity’s small screen debut. It must be recalled that Preity takes a keen interest in sports and is the co-owner of the team Kings XI Punjab.  Well, let’s hope Preity’s new affair with the small screen gives her sinking Bollywood career a boost that she desperately needs.

We thought actress Dia Mirza would’ve loved the opportunity to be the sole woman among six handsome, male actors in Acid Factory. But it wasn’t so smooth and rosy for the girl who thought it to be a pretty frustrating experience sometimes, you know with all the boy-talk and all that.

“I used to scream sometimes… Boys can talk a lot, and can be super distracting. They were always discussing the matches, or then car racing, and I used to constantly tell them to shut up and ask them to concentrate on their dialogues,” said Dia, “But I’ve worked with most of them before, and love them all!”

Now Mirza better get used to ‘match talks’, especially since a lot of our Bollywood ladies — like Preity Zinta and Shilpa Shetty — can do some ‘ball talk’ too these days… we of course mean, cricket, fellas! After all it’s the marriage of B-wood to C-world (read: cricket world). So it may just help knowing the ABC of such things, right Dia?

All’s not well between Bollywood Badshah SRK and King Akshay Kumar as the two were seen sharing cold vibes at Preity Zinta’s birthday party.

According to a secret source, Akshay was keen to leave the party before SRK arrived.

A source says, “The minute Shah Rukh stepped in, Akshay chose to leave. The few minutes that the two were together, they avoided each other. They greeted one another very reluctantly but after that no words were exchanged between the two. Since there were only a few guests present at the party at the time, the awkwardness was very obvious.”

The duo were asked about their dushmani but they decided to remain silent.
