After Chak De! India, Shimit Amin is back in the director’s chair for Yash Raj Films and this time he has signed on Imran Khan and Ranbir Kapoor for his movie.
A source says that Imran and Ranbir were keen to work together and Yash Raj Films is giving them the opportunity. The two get along well and have been searching for scripts and directors who would take on both.
“For months now, Imran and Ranbir have been meeting various directors. They have met Subhash Ghai, Mukesh and Mahesh Bhatt, Vipul Shah as well as the directors they have worked with in the past. They were also looking at scripts so that they could work together. Ranbir already has a hit with Yash Raj Productions,” says the source.
“In fact, they approached both Imtiaz Ali and Shimit to come up with good scripts in which the two could star. While Imtiaz is working on a script, Shimit, who was keen to get back behind the camera, has got YRF to back his film with Ranbir and Imran in the lead,” adds the source.

Bollywood bombshell Katrina Kaif is not going to celebrate Valentine’s Day with beau Salman but will spend the day with Ranbir Kapoor. Don’t let your imagination go too wild as Katrina hasn’t dumped Salman and Ranbir parted ways with Deepika. Both the stars will be shooting together on the day for the upcoming movie Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani in Turkey.Ranbir is planning to take Katrina out for a dinner on the special day. Both the stars can be seen mingling with each other very often these days and go out for dinners regularly. Salman who had bought a luxurious apartment to gift Katrina on the special day seems to be pretty cool about it. He will be shooting for his movie London Dreams with B Town’s new dream girl Asin. Well it will be interesting to see who Deepika goes out with this Valentine’s Day.
